ETEP Portable Extendable Barrier
A retractable barrier for temporarily closing an aisle, doorway or maintenance area when a fixed panel is inconvenient. The listed extended width is 3.2 metres and the height is 0.95 metre, with both dimensions available to customer requirements. Reflective strips are optional. The expanding format allows the opening to be covered during use and the barrier to occupy less space when stored.
Selection and order details
Specify the actual opening width and ask for the appropriate frame and base arrangement. Confirm stability at the intended extension and how the unit will be secured against unintended movement.
A useful barrier enquiry includes a sketch of the intended boundary, the clear access width and the way people or vehicles will approach it. Include any daily opening requirements and explain whether the equipment will remain in one place or move between locations. These details help distinguish the main unit from the fittings, controls and installation work needed to make the arrangement usable.
For the rest of the boundary layout, compare the available barricades and barriers and coordinate visibility with suitable warning and lighting equipment.
The value of an expanding barrier is its ability to cover a changing opening without storing a full-width fixed panel. Measure both the deployed space and the storage position, including the end supports, so the chosen unit fits the daily routine.
