Paddle-Type Sprinkler Waterflow Switch

Paddle-Type Sprinkler Waterflow Switch detects water movement in a compatible sprinkler pipe and provides an alarm signal.

Select the switch for the actual pipe outside diameter, wall specification and installation orientation. A flow detector monitors movement; it does not act as an isolation valve or measure a calibrated flow rate. Agree the alarm interface with the fire alarm contractor. Leave space around the housing for wiring, inspection and eventual replacement.

The listed selection details are sensing: Paddle-operated waterflow; output: Electrical alarm contacts; function: Monitoring, not shut-off; pipe size: Select compatible model; time delay: Confirm selected device.

Selection should start with the approved equipment schedule and the actual installation conditions. Bring the component reference, connection details and required quantities together before procurement. Where a family includes several options, the final quotation should identify one configuration clearly. Photographs help identify the general product type; the supplied data sheet and order confirmation define the item being purchased.

Keep the purchase reference and technical documentation with the site maintenance records. This makes later servicing and like-for-like replacement easier to organise. Installation, commissioning and any change to the system should be handled by the responsible fire-protection contractor against the project requirements. The product image is an indicative illustration; confirm the supplied appearance and configuration when ordering.

Price is available on request for the selected configuration and quantity. The quotation should identify the supply unit, included accessories and delivery scope so that the complete order can be compared accurately.

Compare compatible items in the fire sprinkler systems range and coordinate related fire hydrant equipment. For the published selection details, consult the supplier product reference. Other project requirements can be reviewed through the wider safety equipment catalogue.
