The GLORIA WKL 9 PRO is a 9L water lithium-ion fire extinguisher with a cartridge operated design. The WKL PRO range uses water, cartridge operation and a discharge lance. Lithium-ion suitability is limited to the manufacturer’s described tests and battery configurations. A portable unit is not a universal answer to thermal runaway, large vehicle batteries or energy-storage installations. Lithium-ion batteries must also be distinguished from combustible lithium metal.
